Thung Yi Peng Tourism Community
Ban Thung Yi Peng is a Muslim community located on the east side of Lanta Island. Most villagers work on rubber plantations and local fishing. Having a connection with nature and working together to protect it, tourists can carry out activities in this community. There is a cable car to tour the mangrove forest, learn about the lives of logging workers, observe birds and macaques in the mangrove forest, and visit a monkey training center to climb coconuts. Planting mangroves and understanding the local lifestyle, such as making khapi and local food.

Lanta Old Town Community or Sri Raya Community, or what is often called among foreigners as Lanta Old Town, is an ancient and traditional community over a hundred years old. It started from the time when the Chinese traded around the Andaman Sea to get charcoal back to Penang Island.


The Laem Ngu viewpoint is located in Ko Lanta Noi. It is a new tourist attraction and a new perspective for the people and tourists of Ko Lanta. It is also the guardian of the ocean, the coastal erosion protection dam, which protects the coast from coastal erosion. Laem Ngu is another beautiful attraction that cannot be missed. At night, locals sell their products. Help promote community economy.

By Air

Traveling from Bangkok to Krabi by air is the most convenient option. The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Afterward, you can proceed from Krabi Airport to Koh Lanta by small shuttle buses or private taxis. Please check the information about transportation services above. By Bus
